Vacation 2012
Vacation at the lake 2012
What a wonderful week at the lake with all our family.
We enjoyed being with our children (I consider my daughter in laws as my children) and their children.
Top photo is my wonderful husband and my youngest grandchild Katelyn They look so cool in the 110 degree weather. The entire week was the hottest on record.
We stayed at a log cabin on the lake, rode the pontoon boat, jet ski, fished, swam, had a wiener roast and make smores.
The second photo is Olivia, Kanda, Katelyn and Jett.
They enjoy being together too and have a lot of fun.
I am Blessed!!!!

V C Rocks Blog Hop #2
Welcome to blog hop #2 for V C Rocks 2012
I hope you enjoyed Carolyn's Sharkas blog that you just came from: www.inkingthenightaway.blogspot.com
Here is my card.....
I made a camo vest to share with you and to give my sweet hubby for Father's Day.
I hope you like it.
Stamps: Lovely as a tree
Paper: Old olive, very vanilla
Ink: Old Olive, Early Espresso, Soft Suede
Acc: scoring tool, brads, twine, large oval punch
I cut a piece of Old Olive in half, placed it on the scoring board and scored on the landscape side at 2 1/8 turn and score at 2 1/8 again. Fold on score lines. I used the large oval punch for the armholes and the neck of the vest. I used my scissors to trim the bottom and the neck. I sponged all my ink colors onto the vest until I liked it and then started to randomly stamp the tree, oak leaf and the smaller leaf. Added my brads and the twine. Also added a small piece of vanilla inside with my own personal thoughts for my wonderful husband. I know he will like it very much. Hope you do too.
Thanks for droppin by and hope you enjoy the next stop on the hop...

Family
We just enjoyed the best weekend at the lake with all our family.
Here we are with our grandkids. They are so happy and having a great time. We love them so much.
We spent the day on the water. Swimming, fishing, riding the pontoon boat and the jet ski. That is the reason we all our so red. Yes we have blue tongues from the blue icing on some cupcakes to celebrate two of the kids graduation. One from pre-k and one from kindergarten. We love the time we spend together. It is so special.
We also had two cakes to celebrate two birthdays. One was my oldest son and one was my daughter in law married to my other son. I love my sons and their wives very much and love spending time with them.
We make the trip at least three times a year and just keep having more fun together.
I love the picture so much. Don't you?

V C Rocks Blog Hop
Welcome to our first blog hop at VCROCKS for 2012
Heart shaped card
Paper: very vanilla, real red, Twitterpated DSPStamp: Take it to heart (retired)
Ink: Soft Suede
Ribbon: Soft Suede
Brad: retired
Framelits Die: Hearts Collection
Embossing folders: Vintage wallpaper, Perfect polka dots
I folded a sheet of very vanilla in half and layered the largest heart framelit on top making sure not to cut 2 heart shapes but to let the die go over the top of the paper a little bit. My layer of dsp was cut with the same heart die and I glued it on top so as to cover the card and not show that a few of the scallops were not cut fully. I cut a smaller heart out of very vanilla and embossed with the vintage folder and a smaller heart from real red and embossed with the perfect polka dot embossing folder. I stamped the image with soft suede on very vanilla and cut it out with a smaller heart die.
I glued all layers together and added the ribbon and brad.
I forget what I put inside as I sent these to my two sons and daughter in laws for Valentine's Day.
Another heart card made with the Twitterpated DSP.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of the hop with all the talented bloggers.

Grandson Jett
This is my grandson Jett out fishing for the day.
He had to send his Mimi a picture of his fish.
He caught quite a few this past weekend at Green River Lake.
He is fishing with his Dad and his friend on a different lake today.
