My 2nd Rak

I received this card in the mail from Heather Medford. Thank you Heather. It says "You're a hoot".

For those who don't know a Rak is a random act of kindness. Send a card to someone to brighten their days. A lot of us make cards and keep them. We need to mail more of them out and let others enjoy them. Mary

A beautiful card I received in the mail. Maria Getz sent this to me. This is what is called a happy mail day. I love the color. Chocolate and Pink. Thank you Maria.

MY Grandson Jett

Jett loves keys especially his Poppy's truck keys. He has to have the big truck keys. That's what he calls them. His grandpa drives a big Dodge pickup. Here he is in my Jeep and on our pontoon boat. He can walk that boat without falling down. He is always happy and loves to carry someone's keys. We put a float on the ones he carries when he is on the boat. We just spent the weekend on the boat and he can throw his toy fishing reel over the side of the boat. Of course it does not have a hook on it. He is only two. It has a weight. Fisherman in training. He touches everybody's fish when we catch them. He is wonderful and special. Love you Jett, Mimi

Color Challenge

A card I made for a color challenge.

Choc. Chip, Ruby Red, Old Olive and Kraft.

I used a texture plate on the ruby red.

Ink: Old Olive

Stamps: God's Beauty, beautiful borders and good friend.

Acc: Large & small oval punches and texture plate for the Sizzix big shot.

Another Nature Silhouette

Another card that I had made for the blog tour. I love this set and I am going to use it for my son's birthday card next monday.

I sponged on the night of navy and baja breeze ink to make it look like night time.

I inked up the stamps with night of navy.

My husband made my card!

I edited these cards but it didn't upload that way. My husband made this card for me. All by himself. He loves to give me yellow roses. We had them in our wedding 34 years ago. I love this card. He is getting better at making cards and I love what he wrote inside.

Mother's Day

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. I did. My husband made me a wonderful card by himself. I will post as soon as I can get a picture of it. My scanner is acting up so I will take a pic and upload it. It is beautiful. Mary

Watercolored morning glory. Very easy to do.

Paper: whisper white, elegant eggplant, lovely lilac

Ink: old olive, lovely lilac

ACC: white, green ribbon

Recipe Book

Here is the chef I made from a full sheet of shrinky dink. I stamped the chef from the Viola stamp set. Made him bigger on the copier. Traced him onto the plastic, colored him with pencils and put him in the oven. I tied him onto my recipe book with ribbon but may change him as I work on the book. Any questions just ask. Made this for a contest. It was a lot of fun. I used lots of purple because Mom loves purple. Hope you enjoy.

Ink:certainly celery, lavender lace

Paper:Lavender lace, very vanilla, certainly celery

Acc:ribbon, designer paper

I stamped and colored the image. I then tore the paper and ragged the edges.

I stamped in sympathy inside.
