SU Stars Blog Hop 1 of 2011

Welcome to our first blog hop of 2011...

Home page: list of all blogs taking part in the blog hop.

You should have arrived here from Nancy Keithley's blog http://fancynancykay.blogspot.com

I made a couple of thank you cards for you to enjoy.

Stamps: Serene Snowflakes, Elegant Thank You
Paper: Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Ink: Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, Versamark
Acc: clear embossing powder, large oval punch, sponge daubers, heat gun
I stamped the snowflakes with Versamark and embossed them in clear. I took a sponge dauber and the bashful blue ink and sponged the centers of the snowflakes. Then the night of navy ink and sponged around the snowflakes. Stamped my Thank You in bashful Blue ink and punched with the large oval punch. Sponged around the punched oval with bashful blue ink.
My next card is:
Stamp: from a set I cannot find the name of.
Ink: crumb cake
Paper: Crumb Cake, whisper white
Acc: Embossing folder vintage wallpaper, decorative label punch, victoria lace, sponge daubers, brayer

I brayered crumb cake ink on my embossing folder and then laid my whisper white paper down and ran it through the Big Shot. ( I added a photo at the bottom of the page of what happens when you brayer the opposite site.) I stamped my thanks and sponged around the edges. Added my lace bow and used dimensionals under the label punch.

I hope you enjoyed your stop at my blog. Please come back often to visit.

Scalloped Baby Booties

I just finished making these cute little baby booties. I love them.
I used one sheet of 9x12 felt in white. Used my embroidery machine for the flowers. Punched holes in the side with my crop-a-dile and added ribbon. So easy and so fast. I know my grand daughter will look so cute in them. They are so easy that I will make another pair today.
Thanks for looking. Mary

Baby Bundle card

This is the second baby card we made at my ladies group meeting.
We made some in Blushing Bride and some in Marina Mist.

I used the big shot to cut some scalloped squares. We then stamped the baby carriage on those.

Colored in with our markers.
Stamped bundle of joy and punched out with the oval punch. Punched out two circles to act as brads and tied on some ribbon. Fast and fun.
Thanks for looking and if you have any questions please let me know. Mary

Baby card

Our ladies group met last night at church and we made baby cards.
This one is simple and easy to make. The ladies enjoyed making the cards and they all came up with different but beautiful cards.

Items used:
Baby Tees jumbo wheel,Baby Bundle (congratulations)
Whisper white paper, Black ink and markers of your choice.
Ribbon to match and the curly label large punch. I used a retired punch to punch where the ribbon runs through.
