Our last challenge was to pick an advertisement from a magazine and take 3 colors from that.
I only have fishing books around so my colors are earth colors.
I used crumb cake, black, white paper
Wild wasabi ink and markers in night of navy, so saffron, melon mambo and pacific point.
Stamps are Nature walk

Another Challenge
For this challenge we were to stamp a background paper.
A later challenge was to take the background paper and turn it into a card using only one stamp and that was to be a phrase or greeting.
I turned my background paper into a Birthday card and added ribbon.
Fun!

VC Rocks challenge
They issue challenges and the first challenge was to pick three colors of paper.
Two had to be from one color family and one from another color family.
I chose Old olive, Baja breeze and Rose red.
We were then to make a card using the 3 colors we chose and using only 1 stamp.
It should be a congratulations or a single phrase. I chose congratulations. I stamped it in old olive and then put the paper in the big shot using the new Flower Garden embossing folder.I hope you like my card and thanks for looking.

April Blog Hop
This month we are sharing anything but a card...
You should have arrived here from:The Bluegrass Stamper
http://bluegrassstamperstudio.blogspot.com/I chose to share with you a flower. Not just any flower but a flower I made from fabric circles I cut with the Big Shot and circles #2 die. It is the cheapest material you can find. Get one that ravels easily.
Here are the circles I started with. You can double up on the number of circles you use to make the flower as full as you want it. I placed my circles on top of each other and punched a center hole with my crop-a-dile. Next I placed a brad in the center. This holds the layers together. If you use a Rhinestone brad be careful not to melt the center. I held my layers down with the point of my scissors. Then I used my heat gun to melt the flower layers until they curled like I wanted them to. You have to have a little patience as it can sometimes be a slow melt or it can be very fast if you use a thinner material.I cut out a felt circle to glue on the back and then glued on a hair clip
I hope you enjoyed seeing my share today.
Your next stop on the blog hop is:Stamping is my Therapy
