My grandson Jett

                                                                                    Here is my 2 year old grandson Jett playing with his John Deere tractor at Thanksgiving. The 2 ornamental pear trees he is playing under still had leaves on them. This past week we had 16 inches of snow that was wet and heavy. The weight of the snow split both trees in half. They fell on the driveway and the brick wall surrounding our property. It broke two post lights. I am so sad. These were the most beautiful trees and my grandson so enjoyed playing under them. He took his load of leaves home with him. We will all miss these trees. I will try to post photos of the trees so you can see what I mean.                                                                           Mary Campbell

Last Christmas card share

I love this stamp set. It has a matching punch so the possibilities are endless. I also used Four the Season. A set of 4 greetings. 

The designer paper is flocked adn is called Christmas Cocoa.

I used Real Red ink.

First snow of the year

This is the Santa in my front yard. This was taken at early afternoon. We had more snow fall after this. It is a beautiful snow, sticking to the trees. Looks like for once the weatherman was right. 2-3 inches.

Christmas card swap cards

This is a bookmark card I made for two swaps I am in.
Stamps: Christmas Cardinal
Paper: Melon Mambo, whisper white
Ink: Melon Mambo, mellow moss and soft suede.
Acc: oval punch, 5 petal flower punch, brads, dimensionals, Sizzex bookmark diecut

I love this card and it was fun to make. I made it in unconventional colors. The flower pulls out and is attached to a bookmark. Hope you enjoy.

Poinsetta Christmas card

I used my big shot to punch out the scallop circle.
Stamp set is Christ Is Born.
Ink: Real red and Basic black
Paper: whisper white, real red and old olive
Punches: 5 petal flower and 1/16 inch circle and round tab
yellow brad and gold cord

I stamped the flower in real red and then stamped over this in basic black .

A very simple and fast card or can be used as an ornament. Hope you enjoy!

Workshop tonight

We did the August two page layout for our scrapbook pages tonight. They turned out great and everyone loved doing them. The first page has room for a 5x7 photo. In the corner it says "you are one of a kind". Love it!!!

working on a swap

This is the card I made for the swap I am in. I used the new movers and shapers die for the big shot. I stamped the ornaments and punched them out with the new ornament punch. I used Baroque motifs for the swirl and embossed it in clear. I embossed the snowflakes and the greeting in white. I popped the ornaments up with dimensionals. I love it and hope you enjoy it. My Weekend

I spent this weekend with my children. We attended our eldest sons graduation from the Masters program. He now has his MBA. We are so very proud of him. Congratulations Jonathan. Love ya. He is a very handsome young man and yes he is tall. 6'6. Sorry girls but he is married. Happily. Yes I have another son but he is also happily married. I am blessed. Thank you God.

Box

I made a box to sit on my desk with notepaper in it. I used a hostess set that recently retired. God's Beauty. I love this butterfly.

I embossed it with white embossing powder and then colored it in. I love seeing this sitting on my desk. Hope you enjoy. Mary

Thoughts & Prayers

Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers

Paper: Pretty in pink, chocolate chip, designer paper Bella Rose (retired), whisper white

Ink: close to cocoa, versamark

Acc: clear embossing powder

I embossed the tree by first stamping the stamp in versamark and then in the close to cocoa. I then poured clear embossing powder over the image and heat set. I then stamped the praying for you with close to cocoa ink.

I will make this again but with current Designer Paper. Hope you enjoy. Mary
