V C Rocks Blog Hop #1

Welcome to our first blog hop of the summer.I hope you enjoy your visit to my blog. I am having so much fun being a part of VC Rocks. I am getting to know my fellow stampers and rockers. Maybe I should say rockin stampers. Anyway, this group is a lot of fun and is keeping me busy. I love it!
The blog hop starts at:   http://www.vcrocks.blogspot.com/
You should have arrived here from:
 www.maddiebugdesigns.blogspot.com

My share today is from the new summer mini.

Stamps: All A Flutter, Elements of Style and a background stamp Bella Toile (from the big catalog).
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black and Dusty Durango
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Dusty Durango and Whisper White
Other: Aqua Painters, Circle punch 1" and 1 1/4"

My card is the standard size. 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"in Rich Razzleberry
Next layer is 5 1/4 "x 4" in Dusty Durango
Next layer is 5" x 3 3/4" whisper white stamped with the background stamp Bella Toile in Rich Razzleberry ink.

Smaller layers: Dusty Durango is 4 1/4 x 2 3/4
                       Rich Razzleberry is 4 x2
Whisper White is 1/8 of an inch smaller. Stamped with the swirl from the Elements of Style set
I stamped the for you from the Elements of Style set and punched it out with the 1" punch and taped it to a 1 1/4 inch punch out of Rich Razzleberry.
I stamped the butterfly on whisper white and used an aqua painter to paint it with Rich Razzleberry and Dusty Durango ink.  I popped it up on a dimensional.

I hope you enjoyed your stop at my blog and be sure to visit the next blog on the tour.......Patrice at...

This is fantastic. I really didn't appreciate how wonderful those colors look together. Great work. Your grandson is going to be a real lady killer if he isn't already.

For once, I don't know what to say. I LOVE this card. The color is so vibrant but the background and then the flourish for the main image giving the impression of the butterfly flying around. So perfect!! Wow!!
