Fifth Avenue Rose

Here is a simple card made with the Fifth Avevue rose.
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral
Paper: regal rose, choc chip, very vanilla
Ink: rose red
Acc: ribbon, border punch

could be used for any occasion.
Could add sentiment to the front or inside. Hope you like it. Mary

Flower Pot card

This is the card we are making with our children at our church. They each get to make one to take home and also make one for the mothers of the church to present to them on Mother's Day. They are going to love making these. Instead of a sentiment inside we will be inserting a package of flower seeds. What a surprise for the mom's. You can see the corners of the seed packet sticking out of the bottom corners.

Our children and youth range in age from 2 to 18 and we meet every friday night. We make cards and take them to the nursing homes on special holidays. We also make birthday, get well and anniversary cards to send the people in the church. I love working with the kids. They enjoy learning to make crafts. I also get the ladies involved. We are getting ready to make recipe books. I am trying to come up with ideas for this since I have not made one yet. Thanks for stopping by. Mary

This is a swap card from one of the yahoo groups I belong to. I love the heartfelt thanks set. I like how she used a wheel to make her background. Very pretty card. Very easy to make.

Thank you notes

Thank you notes for my neice. I didn't know her colors but the invite was black and white so I took the chance and she said they were perfect. I made her some and also gave her a check since I was not able to get out and shop because I have ear infection in both ears. She liked them. Yay!!! I used whisper white paper and the Elegant Thank You stamp and black ink. So easy and enjoyable to make.

Got a new camera

Sorry to miss yesterday's post but I was out shopping with my hubby and he bought me a new camera. I have been playing with it ever since. It came with a huge instruction manuel and I am determined to read it. Thanks for your patience and I will post a card later today. Mary

Late Night Stampers Yahoo Group

Stampin' Up! Demonstrators are so talented !!!
Would you like to see for yourselves, then go and see Sherrill Graff's Blog for a sampling of some beautiful cards. Inspiration for some of the cards I create comes from many of these talented ladies.
They are not only Stampin' Up! demonstrators, but members of Sherrill's latenightstampers yahoo group. Challenges are posted weekly, you can join in or just look at all the great samples. I always try to post at least 2 samples to the challenge. It makes you use your imagination to come up with something new and exciting.

Just Beachy

This is a card I received in a swap. It does not have a name on it so I don't know who to give credit to. I did not get this set from the new occasions mini as I did not see how I would use it. Now I wish I had. There is still time as the occasions mini catalog runs through June 30th. I have another card I received in the swap using this set that I will upload tomorrow. A fun card. Enjoy!

A new scanner. But I don't like how it did the scans. Maybe I can work and learn to make it better. I made a baby card for a friend who has a new baby boy and I made a big brother card for the big brother. I hope they like them.

Baroque Motifs

This is an older card I did. My scanner quit working and I cannot upload the two cards I made today. (my camera also dies). I think two of these paper have retired. Looks like sky blue and the beige for the card. Other colors can be substituted. I will post these colors when I find where I have them listed. Enjoy.

I enjoyed coloring the bird and flower with markers. Cutting out the bird was easy. I love the new scallop oval punch. Layering the sentiment was easy. Enjoy!

2nd. Easter Basket card

Just wanted to share another card that looks like an Easter Basket. These are so easy. Try one! Bet you can't stop at one...

Ink: basic black

Acc: old olive ribbon, sizzix dies, glitter

This is so easy if you have the sizzix die cut out.

Easter basket card

A fun card to make. I used half of a sizzix die for a basket. Also sizzix die for the eggs. A very easy card to make.
Stamps:a good egg, wagon full of fun
Paper: barely banana, dsp, regal rose,
certainly celery
Ink: basic black, certainly celery
Acc: ribbon, sizzix dies, oval punch

This was so much fun. Of course I have to make another one to use up the other half of the basket cut out.

Friends 24-7

I made this card for a contest on Late night stampers.(which you can visit by clicking the little owl on the left side of my blog) It had to have a bird on the card.

red and marker So Saffron.

Paper: whisper white, choc. chip, old olive

Acc: corner rounder punch, dimensional. sponge,

old olive ribbon.
